We’ve got summer licked!
Celebrate National Ice Cream
Week from 30th May – 6th June 2010
To celebrate the beginning of the ice cream season, Fredericks, the UK’s largest independent ice cream manufacturer are holding their second annual National Ice Cream Week – which launched for the first time, last year in a blaze of headlines.
Fredericks are aiming to get the biggest scoops in the headlines, in the supermarkets, in the gardens and on the beaches and boldly go where no other ice cream manufacturer has ever gone before!
The campaign will kick off on Sunday 30th May with a free Cadbury ice cream giveaway in the Sunday Mirror, which will be closely followed by the launch of the World’s Most Unusual Ice Cream.
During the run up to National Ice Cream Week the public will be able to vote for their favourite British beach in the ‘Flake 99 Great British Beach Awards’. The nominated beaches have been shortlisted by a panel of experts including Lonely Planet, Visit Britain and the British Surfing Association – along with a team of household names and travel editors. The winner to be announced on Monday 7th June by TV Personality
Jeff Brazier.
